Dr. Daniel Cottam and Dr. Walter Medlin hosted a surgeon from New Jersey interested in learning the Loop Duodenal Switch Procedure at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center. Dr. Cottam continues to pioneer this new weight loss surgery option showing such great results in weight loss for patients.

Dr. Daniel Cottam and Dr. Walter Medlin recently hosted surgeons from across the country at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center where they observed the Loop Duodenal Switch procedure. Dr. Cottam is working with Medtronic to pioneer this new option for weight loss surgery.
Dr. Daniel Cottam recently entertained Surgeons and Staff from the University of Nebraska to provide them training on the Loop Duodenal Switch Procedure for weight loss.
Surgeons were here in Salt Lake City, from Baltimore and Orlando to receive training on the Loop Duodenal Switch Procedure for Weight Loss by Dr. Daniel Cottam and Dr. Walter Medlin.
Dr. Daniel Cottam and Dr. Walter Medlin recently entertained surgeons from Atlanta and Chicago to provide them training on the Loop Duodenal Switch Weight Loss Surgery Procedure. BMI has trained many surgeons across the country and this form of Duodenal Switch is becoming very popular as a result especially for the treatment of diabetes.

Dr. Cottam and Dr. Medlin provided training on the Loop Duodenal Switch to surgeons from New York, New Jersey, Georgia, and Texas.
Dr. Cottam and Dr. Medlin were able to train Dr. Howard Lederer from Minneapolis. They trained him in the innovative SIPS procedure that BMI of Utah has found so beneficial for patients. Hopefully he can return home ready to help his own patients with the SIPS procedure.
